Tenders are invited for Execution of the Maintenance Works of the Nachtigal Ferry and its Relocation for Nditam in the Central Region of La Republic of Cameroon

General site installation;
Supply and removal of material and equipment;
Dismantling and separation of the elements of the Nachtigal ferry;
Loading, transport and unloading at Nditam of items recovered from the Nachtigal ferry;
Manufacture of new Barges (Supply, cutting, shaping, assembly, assembly of sheet metal profiles and angles);
General repair of barges from Nachtigal transferred to Nditam;
Water tightness control of all barges;
Sanding cleaning and Application of two coats of anticorrosive paints on the new barges;
Sanding cleaning, and Application of two coats of marine paint on the new barges;
Assembly of barges by IPN profiles including anti-corrosion treatment of the profiles
Launching of barges;
Repair and installation of existing access ramps;
Repair and installation of existing gates;
Construction of a tropical hardwood decking (500 * 8 * 20cm planks) including tread (500 * 4 * 20 cm);
Construction of metal railings;
Repair and installation of metal jetties;
Repair and installation of existing trail winches;
Repair and installation of existing mooring winches;
Repair and installation of existing ramp winches;
Supply and installation of trail hoists;
Supply and installation of ramp lifting pulleys on the gantries;
Supply and fixing of traction cable guide rollers and accessories;
Supply and hanging of the Ф32 safety cable;
Supply and hooking of the Ф20 traction cable;
Supply and attachment of the trail cable Ф 20;
Supply and hooking of the Ф 22 mooring cable;
Supply and hooking of the ramp cable Ф 22;
Repair of existing pylons;

Commissioning of the entire structure and tests including any subjection;
General lubrication of devices and equipment;
Supply of lifebuoys;
Supply of life jackets;
Transshipment of equipment and materials for the duration of the works;
Supply and installation of tray security barrier.

The Tender Dossier can be obtained from the services of the Project Owner, in particular from the Department of Contracts of the Ministry of Public Works in Yaoundé, located on the 2nd floor of the new R+3 building housing certain Central Services of the Ministry of Public Works, located within the premises of the Regional Delegation of Public Works of the Centre, Door 210, on presentation of a receipt for payment to the Public Treasury of a non-refundable sum for the cost of purchasing the file of one hundred fifty thousand (150, 000) CFA.

Tenders must be accompanied by a provisional bond (bank bid guarantee) with a validity period of one hundred and twenty (120) days, drawn up according to the model indicated in the Call for Tenders Dossier, by a banking establishment or a insurance company approved and authorized by the Minister in charge of Finance to issue guarantees in the context of Public Contracts and in an amount equal to four million (4, 000, 000) CFA Francs.
The provisional guarantee will be released automatically no later than 30 days after the expiry of the validity of the tenders for the tenderers who have not been selected. In the event that the tenderer is awarded the contract, the provisional guarantee will be released after constitution of the definitive guarantee.
