Open procedure for awarding the service contract for the establishment and management of the Saxony IV medium-sized business growth fund Establishment and management of the growth fund for medium-sized businesses in Saxony IV The construction and management will be put out to tender the growth fund for medium-sized businesses in Saxony IV (WMS IV). As a public client and anchor investor, the Free State of Saxony promises to contribute a fund investment of up to EUR 30 million to the fund. Participated as another public investor The Saxon Development Bank is providing up to EUR 20 million. SAB's participation is subject to a committee decision by the SAB Board of Directors. The Free State of Saxony makes its resources available regardless of this committee decision. The WMS IV should be designed to be aid-free (pari-passu). According to recital 34 of the EU Commission's communication "Guidelines on state aid for the promotion of risk financing (2014/C 19/04)", independent private participation is required for this purpose of at least 30 percent. To ensure that the fund is able to act at all times, private funds should be contributed to the fund. The aim is for private participation in the fund of 30 percent or more.
