The ESG data management system serves as a centrally controlled, specialized software-as-a-service platform (SaaS platform) for the integrative procurement, processing, quality assurance and provision of external ESG data for the KfW Group. The external ESG data delivery route (hereinafter also “XEDALI”) replaces the previous, decentralized and heterogeneous procurement and connection of external ESG data sources with a standardized ETL process (Extract - Transform - Load). The application will regularly query ESG data at the technical interfaces to various external data providers, convert it into a uniform data model and make it available for use in subsequent processes. It therefore provides buyers with a consistent data source for external ESG data. XEDALI thus makes a significant contribution to technical support and compliance with new regulatory requirements (in particular the EBA guidelines on ESG risks (EBA/GL/2025/01), MaRisk as well as the VSME standard and the requirements of BCBS239).
