CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF NEW SELANDER BRIDGE AND ITS CONNECTING ROADS

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST [INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING]
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania (the "Tanzania Government") has secured a loan from the Government of the Republic of Korea (the "Korean Government") to finance the Construction of a New Selander Bridge Project (the "Project) in Tanzania in Dar es Salaam City. However, the Government of Tanzania will finance the Consultancy Services for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment.
The scope of the assignment includes but not limited to carrying out Environmental and Social Impact Assessment to ensure that the New Selander Bridge and the connecting roads are implemented in a sustainable manner.
The assignment is intended to be accomplished within a period of three (3) months and it is intended to start the contract signing.
The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication now invites eligible Consultants to express their interest in providing the above-mentioned services. Interested Consultants must provide information indicating their qualifications for performing the services. Such information may include brochures, description of assignments of similar nature in the last 10 years, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate managerial and technical skills among staff related to the assignment etc. For each project performed, the Consultant shall provide the name and address of the Client (including email), date(s) of execution, name(s) of Lead and Associate Firms.
Consultants may associate with local or foreign firms to enhance their qualifications. The association form of Sub-Consultant or Joint Venture Only. Partners (as association) must demonstrate capacity for execution of the project under expression of interest.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and Public Procurement Regulations-Government Notice No. 446 of 20th December 2013.
Interested Consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 08:00-16:30 hours local time, Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on Public Holidays.
