Request for proposals are invited for Engineering Design Services.

The Client (“Ruzizi III Energy Limited (REL)”), a special purpose company established in Rwanda is developing the Ruzizi III Regional Hydroelectric Power Plant (the “Project”). The Project is a 206 MW hydropower plant located on the border between DRC and Rwanda on the Ruzizi River, between Lake Kivu and Lake Tanganyika.

REL is currently developing the conceptual design for the EPC contract tender for the Project, which is being undertaken by other consultants. REL is seeking the services of an experienced firm (the “Consultant”) to develop the conceptual design for the operator-s camp in DRC for the Project (the “Services”).

The Request for Proposal document (RFP) for the Services is available in electronic format for free. Interested firms may request the RFP by sending an email to project.procurement@ruzizienergy.com, including in the subject “Request for the RFP - Operator-s Camp Design” and stating in the email (i) the name of their firm and (ii) two (2) contact email addresses.

Proposals for the Services must be submitted to the above email address latest by 13:00 (Kigali time) on 28 February 2022. The RFP and all associated correspondence shall be in English only.
