World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization whose purpose is to create lasting change in the lives of children, families, and communities living in poverty. World Vision is dedicated to working with the world-s most vulnerable children. In Rwanda, World Vision has been part of the country-s experience and journey since 1994 working through relief, rehabilitation, and development programs.
WV International Rwanda with its strategic objective of Collaborating and advocating for broader impact, has created the necessary platforms for collaboration with different community development actors including Government, Business and Non- Profit (FBOs/Churches, CBOs, LNGOs, CSOs) to ensure broader Impact, sustainability and ownership, especially for the most vulnerable children. More effective partnering will mean a step change in the impact that the organization is able to achieve in terms of sustainable child well‐being outcomes, influence and resource development. The strategic objectives help to capture all necessary advocacy and external engagement collaborations and formulation of formal agreements with Local Implementing Partners through different approaches and models such as but not limited to ‘- Ultra-poor Graduation (UPG), the Transformed Field Environment (TFE), Citizen Voice Action(CVA), Saving For Transformation (S4T), Unlock-Literacy, Child Protection and Advocacy ( CPA) that are working directly with communities to ensure sustained child wellbeing outcomes. It is in this framework that World Vision invites current and prospective partners to express their interest for potential partnership to join efforts for greater advocacy for vulnerable children.
