ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW
Assignment Title: 1270608 - Energy Efficiency (EE) Strategy for The Gambia - Pillar 1: Development of a National EE Strategy, including the identification of high impact opportunities.

ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
This activity is envisioned to lay the technical and analytical foundations to develop a National EE Strategy for The Gambia, which will include the identification of high impact opportunities and a subsequent implementation plan.
As such, this initiative will produce the technical and analytical studies needed for the development of The Gambia`s first National EE Strategy and, among others, will comprise the following:
-The Evaluation of existing national EE policies and activities and stakeholder mapping

-An assessment of EE activities to identify high-impact EE measures

-Definition of strategic actions and impact evaluation

-An analysis of the EE implication on gender

-The final EE Strategy that will incorporate the above-mentioned analyses into account and will include a roadmap to ensure a successful final implementation plan

-A Results (M&E) evaluation framework

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification. No debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.
