Request for proposals are invited for Energy Audits and Manufacturing for Pilot Energy Saving Projects.
2. Benin`s energy program comprises four (4) projects namely: (i) Policy Reform and Institutional Strengthening Project; (ii) Electricity Production Project; (iii) Electricity Distribution Project; and (iv) Off-Grid Access Project. The objective of the program is to increase the productivity and output of the enterprise, to generate more economic opportunities for households, and to improve the capacity to provide public and social services by improving the quantity and quality of food. supply of electricity. 4. MCA- Benin II, acting on behalf of the Government of Benin, is now inviting qualified, experienced and eligible consulting firms to submit
proposals to it to provide the services of Consultant for Energy Audits and Project Management for the Implementation of Pilot Projects for the Economy of Benin. `Energy.
5. The Request for Proposals ("RFP") is open to all eligible entities or persons ("Consultants") who wish to bid. The forms of association accepted between Consultants are the joint venture and the subcontracting contract for the provision of consultancy services with the aim of pooling in a complementary way the respective areas of expertise of the Consultants associating and optimizing their ability to fulfill their obligations and achieve their mission successfully.
6. The consulting services and the contract that should be awarded cover a period of thirty-eight (38) months including:
• A base period of eighteen (18) months for conducting energy audits of twenty (20) public administration buildings and ten (10) industrial enterprises.
• An optional period of twenty (20) months for project management of pilot energy saving projects to be implemented at the level of ten public administration buildings.
7. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection Method (SCQS), the evaluation procedure outlined in the sections of the RFP in accordance with the "MCC Procurement Program Guidelines" available. on the MCC website: www.mcc.gov.
