The tender involves the delivery, commissioning and training of a total of 5 gastroenterological video endoscopy towers with different gastroscopes, duodenoscopes, enteroscopes, colonoscopes and special ultrasound endoscopes for use in gastroenterology. Furthermore, there is one Service/maintenance contract with a term of 10 years is part of the tender. With regard to the new building of the central clinic, which is scheduled to go into operation at the beginning of 2029, this tender will be used to advance the replacement procurement of the gastroenterological video endoscopy towers with an installation of the systems in endoscopy at the Emden location. The later relocation of the systems to the new Central Hospital building is also part of the tender. With the construction of the "Zentralklinikum Georgsheil" the local authorities of the Aurich district and the city are creating Emden, through its joint sponsoring company Kliniken Aurich-Emden-Norden, provides medical care of the future for rural areas under municipal sponsorship. The three current hospital locations for basic and standard care in Aurich, Emden and Norden will become a modern clinical campus with the performance and quality standards of a key provider, with significant maximum supply shares, connections to the universities in the region to be developed in the future, combined in the transport center of the three cities.
