The Zimbabwe Global Disability Fund Round 4 Programme is implemented jointly by the UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa, UNDP and UNFPA Country Offices, under the oversight of the United Nations Resident Coordinator-s Office. Other key Implementing Partners (IPs) have included the Government, National Umbrella bodies of Organizations of Persons with Disabilitie[UNGDF1] s (OPDs)[1] and broader civil society. This joint UN disability rights Programme has been implemented under two Phases; Phase 1 period was from 2021 to June 2024, and the Phase 2 implementation period is from October 2024 to January 2026. The first End of Programme Evaluation for the Phase 1 Programme was concluded in June 2024. This Evaluation will cover the overall Programme implementation period of both Phases 1 and 2 with key emphasis on capturing the critical changes that have occurred in Zimbabwe through the GDF-s five-year investment of total budget USD170 000.The evaluation should also place emphasis on how the programme transitioned from system/policy reform (phase 1) to improved access to GBV services focus in Phase 2.
