The exhibition rooms of the Kupferstichkabinett and the central entrance hall, among others, of the Gemaldegalerie in Berlin are equipped with similar light ceiling sails equipped with fluorescent lamps with VIP90 dimming LED equipment should be converted with Casambi dimming.
The sub-distributions and control panels are also adapted for this purpose.
The three exhibition rooms, which are approximately the same size, are processed one after the other according to a schedule agreed upon with the user. The periods depend on the exhibition-free times.
Start of W-M planning: no later than 5 working days after placing the order (approx. beginning of March 2026).
Note: A production time of approx. 14 weeks is to be expected for the lights.
Execution sections:
- Section 1 / Copper Engraving Cabinet: June 22nd - July 31st, 2026 - this time window is kept free of exhibitions specifically for the implementation of the measure and must be strictly adhered to.
- Section 2 and 3 / u. and o. Special exhibition hall: 4th quarter of 2026 / 1st half of 2027 Execution period approx. 8 weeks each.
Access will be coordinated with the security service and partly takes place via public visitor areas.
The service also includes a maintenance contract.
