Tender Details
In recent years, various studies have been carried out on the topic of costs and benefits of energy efficiency measures (including Grafe et al (2025), Rau et al. (2024), Pickert et al. (2022), or currently (Ariadne 2026)). Many of these studies identify but not the measures that bring the greatest energy benefit per euro invested. The expert report (SVG) “Effectiveness of energy efficiency measures in the building sector” (“Eco-EnEff”) is intended to focus on particular issues Focus on cost-effective measures and also consider low-threshold efficiency measures. To this end, the current status of research on the costs and benefits of energy efficiency measures in the building sector should first be examined with a focus on the cost efficiency of Energy efficiency measures and energy modernization are compiled and updated. The aim is to present the findings of the various studies of recent years with their various research questions, methods, sources and the to prepare the underlying assumptions so that they are more comparable. In a second step, particularly cost-efficient and low-threshold individual measures to increase energy efficiency (including constructive details) should be developed and interactions between each other) are identified and the regulatory framework and feasibility are analyzed from the perspective of various actors. . The focus of this report is to... ... on renovation projects of existing buildings (If the in-depth examination of the data suggests it, new buildings should also be considered as an option in WP 1, see Section 3.1). ... on insulation measures of the building envelope and, if necessary, ventilation systems (with heat recovery). Measures that exclusively relating to heating systems and energy supply should not be taken into account. .
