They offer young people in particular the opportunity to further develop their skills and open up new perspectives on the European labor market. However, programs such as training and further education, internships and volunteer services often remain unused because there is no overview of the offers. The BA's more than 5, 000 career advisors play a central role in making those seeking advice aware of learning mobility programs. Due to the high complexity of the subject area constant transfer of knowledge is necessary. Without this, career counselors lack knowledge about the possibilities and specific features of learning mobility.
