Through the construction of a FW development line From Duisburg-Hamborn to Duisburg-Meiderich, FD is able to connect additional customers to the district heating system. The total length of the planned FW routes is around 4.4 km. The construction project is divided into three construction phases. The integration into the existing The district heating network is located on “Alleestrasse” with a nominal width of DN 300. The route continues along Emscherstrasse and Kochstrasse and crosses Neumühler Strasse in a closed construction with a pipe jack to Arnold-Dehnen-Strasse. Along the Arnold-Dehnen-Straße up to the intersection of Wiesbadener Straße and Nauheimer Straße, the FW route continues to be in DN 300.
