Description:
BACKGROUND
UNICEF Is preparing a drilling programme on annual basis and in 2018, Ten (10) boreholes will be drilled and equipped to unserved population; schools; health centres; and communities to provide safe drinking water.
OBJECTIVE
To provide safe drinking water in; schools; health centres; and underserviced and cholera susceptible to villages in lakes state.
METHODOLOGY
Terms of Reference for carrying out hydrogeological surveys have been prepared.
Both the types of drilling rigs and drilling methods should be indicated according to the underlying geology and hydrogeology of the project areas.
Guidelines on data collection have been clearly defined.
Guidelines on supervision have been put in place.
The contractor is required to attach the proposed implementation plan in the proposal with clear timeline to execute the contract.
The Contractor will be reporting to WASH officer in charge of rural water supply in Juba and WASH specialist in Rumbek.
