Tender Details
Expression of Interest are invited for DRC Water and Sanitation impact Evaluation: Endline Survey
The Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) Department of the World Bank Groups Development Economics (DEC) Vice-Presidency is hiring a firm to lead data collection activities for an impact evaluation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The selected firm will be responsible for collecting endline data in 331 villages across four provinces: South Kivu, Kongo Central, Kasaï and Kasaï Central provinces. The data collection will involve about 3, 310 households questionnaires, 331 leaders questionnaires, 1, 000 water-point mapping questionnaires, and a stand-alone behavioral governance mini-intervention. The behavioral measure will include a small grant competition targeting water and sanitation infrastructure in a handful of winning villages. Specific activities such as COVID-19 antibody tests, anthropometric measurement, water-quality tests, and structured observations of WASH practices (at the household level) will also be conducted. Extensive experience carrying out household surveys in the DRC and or other fragile and conflict-affected countries as well as a strong track record of high-quality performance are required.
