Licensing of activities in the field of recovery and disposal of hazardous waste Business entities to perform work (providing services) for the collection, transportation, recovery, neutralization and (or) disposal of hazardous waste are required to obtain a license to perform work and provide services in the field of environmental protection for the relevant subtype of activity in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On permits and notifications." The license for the purposes of carrying out the types of activities provided for in paragraph 1 of this article shall indicate: the type and quantity of hazardous waste in respect of which a person can carry out the relevant operations; types of operations with hazardous waste; technical and other site requirements for each type of operation; the method to be used for each type of operation. The production facility (buildings, structures, structures, premises and (or) hazardous waste landfill) and the production complex (installations, equipment and transport) must be owned a business entity engaged in operations with hazardous waste. The requirement of paragraph 1 of this article does not apply to business entities that are generators of hazardous waste, in terms of recovery, neutralization and disposal of their own hazardous waste. from...
