Digitization Framework Agreement Berlin State Library - Lot 2 (Inventory Colonial Contexts) Framework agreement on scanning, recording structural data and pagination of library holdings of the Berlin State Library (SBB), Foundation Prussian Cultural Heritage (SPK) by a digitization service provider, here: Lot 2 - Colonial Contexts inventory. The award procedure includes two lots: digitization of monographs and magazines from the SBB inventory (lot 1) and digitization of monographs and journals for the holdings of the DFG-funded project Colonial Contexts (Lot 2). The subject of the service is the timely and proper scanning of objects that is gentle on the object Monographs and journals for the holdings of the DFG-funded Colonial Contexts Project. The service includes the creation of image files as well as the creation of structural data and pagination for the workflow management system Kitodo.Production. The service is carried out in batches every four weeks with collection from SBB, Processing by the contractor and return of the stocks. The duration of the project is 2.5 years with the option to extend once by 1 year. The intended total term of the framework agreement, including the extension option, is: Calculated order volume of 11, 000 volumes with an average of 250 pages = 2, 750, 000 pages.
