Digitization framework agreement Berlin State Library - Lot 1 (inventory of magazines, monographs) Framework agreement on scanning, recording structural data and pagination of library holdings of the Berlin State Library (SBB), Foundation Prussian Cultural Heritage (SPK) through a digitization service provider, here: Lot 1 - inventory of monographs and magazines. The award procedure includes two lots: digitization of monographs and magazines from the SBB inventory (lot 1) and Digitization of monographs and journals for the holdings of the DFG-funded project Colonial Contexts (Lot 2). The subject of the service is the timely and proper scanning of objects that is gentle on the object Monographs and magazines from the holdings of SBB. The service includes the creation of image files as well as the creation of structural data and pagination for the workflow management system Kitodo.Production. The service is provided in batches every four weeks with collection from various SBB locations, Processing by the contractor and return of the stocks. The duration of the framework agreement is 2 years with the option to extend twice by 1 year each. For the intended overall term of the framework agreement including extension options a calculated maximum order volume of 62, 400 volumes with an average of 250 pages = 15, 600, 000 pages.
