The city of Flensburg and the districts of Schleswig-Flensburg and North Friesland have been one of 73 MPSCs nationwide (model projects smart cities) since 2022. The model project supports measures in which the everyday life of people by using dataRelieved, the living conditions are improved and the region should be made future -proof. The digital agency Flensburg is planning the development of a portal to cross -island and integrative regional onboarding for the model project "Smart Border Region between the SeasonsDialogue education function and connection to the citizens' portals. For this project, a steering group was founded with various experts (from business, administration and science), which is decisive when planning the portal, the so-called "digital (s) island move manager (s)" (diums)were involved and which must be included in the development of the portal as stakeholders. The "digital island parade manager" (Dium) pursues the overarching goal of a nationwide rollout and is primarily aimed at future residents of the "smart border region between the seas".
