D-Netz Allgäu Transition
Public service contract in local rail passenger transport within the meaning of Article 5 Para. 1 of Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007. Operation of a regional service on the following lines: • RE 75 Ulm - Memmingen - Kempten - Oberstdorf: 1-hour frequency with several gaps on weekends in the Kempten - Oberstdorf section • RE 79 Augsburg - Kempten: 2-hour frequency + HVZ compressor Augsburg - Buchloe section and 1-hour frequency Buchloe - Kempten section • RB 73 Kempten - Pfronten: 1-hour frequency • RB 94 Kempten - Hergatz: Single trains (4 pairs of trains on W(Sa), 1 pair of trains on Sat and 2 pairs of trains on Sun) The transport services are to be provided from December 9th, 2029, the first day of operation after the major timetable change in 2029, after the night break. The traffic implementation contract to be concluded ends with the major timetable change in 2032, on December 11th, 2032. The term of the obligation to provide services is therefore 3 years from the start of operations. The contract can be extended three times for one year each for the RE 75 line.
