It focuses on investing in private sectorprojects that are financially and economically viable and have a substantialdevelopment impact.The Financial Institutions Group(FIG) is one of IFC-s largest industry departments and has three mainobjectives: a) promote financial inclusion, b) service the real economy, and c)mobilize third-party resources. To achieve these objectives, FIG invests innumerous financial subsectors and strengthens financial institutions across theregion through her Upstream Advisory services (FIG US Advisory). FIG US Advisory program in Africais closely coordinated with investment operations and supports banks andfinancial institutions across the region in their digital transformationjourney, expand their client outreach and improve their capabilities for deliveringspecialized financing including gender, agriculture and climate finance.
