The Hahn Airport Municipalities Association intends to develop the "Sohren-Buechenbeuren an der K75" commercial area. The planned commercial area is located along the connecting road between the two local communities of Sohren and Buechenbeuren north of the K 75 and south of the former Langenlonsheim - Hermeskeil railway line. The planning area extends across the districts of the local communities of Sohren and Buechenbeuren and can be seen as a sensible closure of the gap between the two communities.
