Consistency of services
In a way, the study has the following specific objectives:
- take stock of the local pharmaceutical industry with local potential, available resources, main internal and external players as well as existing interactions;
- carry out a strategic diagnosis of the pharmaceutical industry accompanied by a SWOT analysis;
- carry out a benchmarking study or a comparative analysis which will present the development dynamics of the local pharmaceutical industry and the investment policies in targeted reference countries;
- identify and highlight the drugs whose production can be prioritized as part of the strategy, from the National List of Essential Medicines (LNME), of the most frequent pathologies and taking into account the availability local raw materials;
- develop business models for each link in the pharmaceutical industry sector, namely "training - research and development", "production" and "marketing";
- carry out feasibility studies with a view to setting up a technological park (technopole) in biotechnologies and pharmaceutical industries;
- propose a plan for the structuring of the sector in Cameroon and the organization of the interprofession;
- propose a priority action plan accompanied by financing mechanisms.
