Tender Details

In recent years, the need for reliable, cross -traffic and available mobility data has increased significantly in order to better analyze mobility behavior, relocation effects and the effects of disruptive events. At the same time the Population in classic mobility surveys, while certain traffic areas- such as cycling and foot traffic or leisure shipping- remain difficult to capture. However, a continuous survey is essential for evidence -based transport policy and investment planning. Through More efficient estimation procedures, algorithms and machine learning methods can be automated (partially) (partially) and the response from respondents can be significantly reduced. The goal/benefit of the research project is the development and validation of a production tire, GPS-based method for mobility recording as a scalable, secure backend service with well-documented residual API. The core destinations are: (1) Automated from GPS and other sensor data. (2) a stable Define and implement the standard interface (residual API); (3) Realize a scalable, safe, open source-capable system architecture. In the short term, this creates a reliable technical basis on which a user-friendly smartphone app can immediately build up. Long -term The standardized, digitally supported survey enables continuous mobility monitoring and thus data -based planning, control and evaluation of traffic measures for future -oriented traffic policy and planning.
