Only 7% of the Saxon 558 river surface water bodies (OWK) currently reach the good ecological condition. For 13% of the river waters, at least one cause of the refusal to target lies in the very high loads by the substances typical of the Ore Mountains, typical of the Ore Mountains, arsenic, Copper, zinc, cadmium and nickel. The aim of this project is to set up a complete assignment of the load sources and source strengths for old mining -loaded OWK on the basis of water -bodied research and investigations into the sources of mining stress.
