The German electron Synchrotron Desy is a research facility with locations in Hamburg and Zeuthen (Brandenburg). On the site Desy Campus in Hamburg, the construction of a new integrated technology and start -up center (ITGZ I), as a place for innovation projects with a flexible and Multifunctional research and communication center built. The project is part of the development area "Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld". In the course of these plans, the southern part of the Desy campus is also being overplanted and developed. The building site is located on the Desy site between building 11b in the west and the warehouses belonging to the University of Hamburg in the east.
