Delivery of an OCR reader and laser device Information about the announcement: The ÖBB TS Knittelfeld plant specializes in the refurbishment and reconditioning of railway vehicle wheel sets. To improve data quality in the production process and accelerate it ÖBB TS is also planning to purchase an OCR (Optical Data Recognition) reader with integrated laser function. This is intended to record the bearing data on the various wheelset bearings using image processing and systemically with a GS1 code combined and lasered onto the bearing. The resulting data record must be automatically transferred to the PLS of the production area via a suitable interface. Maintenance contract is not provided.
