Tender Details

The scales are to be purchased as part of the initial equipment of the new laboratory building at the Finger Institute for Building Materials Science (FIB). The FIB is home to the professorships of materials in construction, construction and environmental chemistry, as well as the junior professorship of materials mechanics. The FIB is a top international research facility in the field of cement chemistry, research into novel CO2-neutral binders, admixtures and concrete durability. Together with the IAB and the MFPA, it forms the Construction Innovation Center, one of the largest research alliances in the field of building materials research in Europe. The institute is also responsible for the building materials engineering course, in which young scientists are trained for university and industrial research. This course of study is unique in Germany in its conception. In addition, the institute offers many teaching content from other courses in the faculties of construction and environment as well as architecture and urban studies, such as chemistry for engineers, environmental chemistry, construction chemistry, building materials science and much more.
