For various environmental studies (today known under the name Geres), Pro-Benkater was collected and examined in order to gain insights into how the pollution of the population is current and over time. For retrospective measurements, since the 1980s Samples stored permanently at -20 C. So far, these samples are stored on 20 euro pallets in an external cold store that has been dissolved and now the rehearsals are in an interim storage facility. For the future and permanent storage of these as well as new samples that have previously been stored at -80 C Cool containers are purchased, which can be cooled to at least -40 C (or colder), should be set up in the Marienfelde location of the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) in Berlin and should be available as soon as possible.
