The Leibniz Institute for Food System Biology at the Technical University of Munich intends to order an order on the delivery, structure as well on the basis of this service descriptionCommissioning of a spectrometer console (400 MHz) with a room temperature sample head to control a high-resolution NMR spectrometer (400 MHz; 9.4 t) of the company Bruker (abbreviation: 400 MHz spectrometer console) including optional user training and optional 3-hour application training courseto be granted. In addition to the generally required functionality, the 400 MHz spectrometer console must meet all specifications listed below. The 400 MHz spectrometer console serves the control of a super -conducting magnetic system (400 MHz; 9.4 t) from Bruker and is to be used for the followingare: (i) characterization of isolated natural substances from food, (II) review of natural substance syntheses and their intermediate stages, (III) Quantification of isolated/synthesized compounds (e.g. flavors, aroma substances, syntheses, etc.), (IV) Use of NMR Foodscreener Platform(Wine, Honey- and Juice profiling) for profiling/food fraud, (v) interaction studies (e.g. melanoid-aroma-off interactions etc.).
