The tender includes the delivery of two large heat pumps (or HP cascades) for the construction of the heat pump center in building 54c at DESY, with the aim of using large amounts of unused waste heat to supply the high-temperature local heating network (HT network). to make it usable. The overall scope includes the delivery and ready-to-use installation of two water/water heat pumps for outdoor installation, which together should generate a heating output of around 3500 kW.
