MOIN GmbH is planning to introduce an automatic passenger counting system (AFZS) into its bus fleet. Due to the great effort required for manual demand surveys, there is currently no systematic and up-to-date data basis for public transport service planning Lüneburg district. The aim of this project is to equip all buses used in public transport in the Lüneburg district from the beginning of 2026 until December 31, 2026 with AFZS in order to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date data basis for the future to maintain service planning and timetable design in city and regional bus transport; - to be able to systematically adapt the vehicle sizes used to the identified demand; - a precise database for further analyzes and concepts receive.
