The future architectural principle relies on a clear functional separation between orchestration / control through central data protection Software and data storage on a dedicated storage platform optimized for backup workloads with integrated, globally effective data reduction. Short restart and recovery times are required due to high parallelism and high performance Inline processing and a significant reduction in storage and bandwidth requirements through deduplication and compression. Harden immutable, retained copies (Immutable/WORM) and cryptographically supported end-to-end integrity checks the environment against manipulation and silent data corruption. The solution must be managed locally - on-prem. Optional telemetry or remote support functions are GDPR-compliant, transparent, consent-based and can be completely deactivated with to offer.
