As part of emergency interventions in favor of populations in areas most affected by crises and conflicts in the Far North region, UNICEF received funding from CERF to contribute to the protection of children against violence and improving their environmentnt protective through multisectoral interventions (Nutrition, Child Protection and Water, Hygiene and Sanitation). Among these ongoing interventions are the construction of WASH facilities in schools, health centers and communities hosting IDPs and others.turned away. As part of this financing, it is planned to build a photovoltaic system for supplying drinking water. This drinking water supply system installed at the Kidam public school in the Municipality of Logone-Birni, will consist of a borehole equipped with a submersible pump.solar plant, 04 storage tanks placed on a metal superstructure with a technical block integrated into agglomerations, 04 standpipes with 02 draw-off taps each; any other school, health facility or nearest community will be connected.
