The school location as a whole is also to be converted to make it handicapped accessible. The overall measure was divided into four Partial construction measures: -Component A: Renovation and conversion of existing building, Mellener Straße 38-42 -Component B: Demolition of MUR and construction of new extension building, Rehagener Straße 42-44 -Component C: Replacement school building, Briesingstrasse 23 -Component D: Interim cafeteria in the building UvHGymnasium, Rehagener Straße 35-37 The renovation and new construction measures pursue the goals of the Berlin School Building Offensive (BSO) and the implementation of a sustainable school, largely based on the currently available model rooms and -functional programs.
