The Wirtschaftsfördergesellschaft Koblenz mbH (WFG) is the owner of the property at Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 5 in 56073 Koblenz. It consists of parcels 61/17, 45/31, 45/33 and 61/20 in corridor number 6 with a total area of 8, 195 m². The The office building located here was completed in 2002 and has a net floor area of 4, 514m². The Federal Real Estate Agency (BIMA) intends to acquire the property until the completion of service phase 4. Accordingly, the client is entitled to transfer all rights and obligations from this contract to the Federal Real Estate Agency (BIMA) by means of a unilateral declaration to the contractor. The contractor agrees to this Contract transfer in advance. The WFG and BIMA are jointly developing a plan for the future accommodation of a laboratory building for the Federal Institute of Hydrology on the property. An in-depth feasibility study was carried out in 2023 created by the Canal office to convert and expand the building as a laboratory building. It assumes that the existing building will be rearranged and that an extension to the southern wing and a heated hall will be built. The Cost estimates from 2023 assume costs of KG 200, 300 and 400 of EUR 14, 612, 000 (net).
