The subject of the tender is the conversion, extension and renovation of Town Hall II at Hauptstrasse 32 in 76549 Hügelsheim. Town Hall II was built in 1873. The forestry administration and community corrections officers are currently located on the ground floor as well as the passport and registration office and public order office areas. One room on the upper floor is used as an archive, the remaining rooms are empty. During the planned construction work, there will be no office space available for the employees currently working in Town Hall II. As a temporary solution, office containers will be set up on the town hall square. Due to the increase in staff, increasing tasks and organizational changes, an expanded use of the rooms in Town Hall II is in the future necessary. There is also a need for action regarding barrier-free access to the building and the meeting room in order to enable unrestricted access to all citizens. The building is in poor condition overall structural and technical condition. Neither its equipment nor its structure meets today's requirements for functional and contemporary administration.
