The tender package part A includes the dismantling of existing contaminated road pavements (approx. 2, 100 t containing tar) as well as preparations for camp agent detection in the area of ​​the sewer trenches and connecting pipes in Bertlicher Strasse and Sibling Street. In this context, the street drainage system (approx. 20 drains) must be connected to the newly constructed standard water channels. The restoration of approx. 4, 600 m² of road surface will be carried out using a uniform asphalt construction (mainly Bk1.8). In both streets, sidewalks (approx. 3, 700 m²) are being renovated according to a uniform standard for the city of Gelsenkirchen and the city of Herten. This includes the expansion of barrier-free crossing points and separately funded barrier-free ones Bus stops (“Ringstraße” stop). The sibling street is a protected avenue with increased requirements for tree protection. It is planned to reduce the sidewalk width to 2.00 m as part of the renovation. The tender package part B includes the construction of a rain and mixed sewer with nominal widths of DN 300 to DN 1000 (length approx. 780m) at depths of up to 5.00m in Bertlicher and Brüderstraße. The sewer construction measures are partly in the contaminated area (B/W system) to carry out.
