For the onshore acceptance of dredged material, the HPA operates various handling and dredged material treatment plants in Francop, Finkenwerder Vorhafen, Moorburg Mitte/Ost and Ellerholz, which are approved in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG).
