For some years ZFSV has been used in Germany for the filling of (trench) troughs and in difficult to compact areas of backfilling. ZFSV are often made from locally excavated soil with the addition of water, bentonite and low-dose binder to a flowready filling construction material, which is to reach previously defined final properties after solidification. To prove the suitability according to ZTV E-StB different requirements, u. a. also to establish the proof of durability (volume stability). Typical factors influencing the durability of building materials in road construction are frost-thaw cycles, wet-dry changes and trafficsbelastungen. Binding test regulations and criteria for the evaluation are missing so far. For this purpose, only "indications for the production and use of temporary flowable, self-compacting filling materials H ZFSV" exist so far.The aim is therefore to develop practicable testing methods and suitable criteria for assessing the durability of the ZFSVprovide a draft test specification to be prepared by the researcher for the suitability test on the durability of ZFSV as well as evaluation criteria for incorporation into the ZTV E-StB.
