The driving competence should be examined in the driving simulator or real traffic. The external project includes the development of the study design, the data collection and evaluation. The goal is to identify possible traffic safety relevant performance losses of the driving skills in the group comparison, to determine the handling of the affected persons and thereby bto assess the effects on mobility behavior and driving safety. In addition to the driving behavior, further influencing factors are to be determined, which u. a. in the sense of control variables in group comparisons could be of relevance.

Through the knowledge gained in the project with regard to the (changed) driving skills of injured car drivers with psychological accident consequencesThe aim is to enable the derivation of targeted measures to reduce driver deficits.
