The BMVI's "Plan for Digital Planning and Building" sees the standard application of the Arbeitsmethodik Building Information Modeling (abbreviated: BIM) in the entire transport infrastructure construction for new projects to be planned from the end of 2020. The current focus of business and research is on the development and implementation of BIM methods for lifecycle planning and construction. The life cycle phase of operation plays no or only one in the previous research approachessubordinate role. Since the BIM methodology is to be applied throughout the life cycle of a bridge construction, structural and operational measures as well as the construction inspection and the recalculation in the operational phase are to be examined more closely and advantages and possibilities for the support of the construction extension and maintenance by BIM are to be pointed out. This is u. a. a practical ones Concept for the implementation of the BIM methodology in the operating phase for common reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and steel composite structures (length 50 m), taking into account structural and operational measures, structural verification, recalculation and the integration of existing and "further data obtained" These are selected processes for the operating phase with regard to theAnalyze and describe processes, interfaces and interactions. Beneficial advantages and requirements in the life cycle of the bridge structures are to be pointed out. The developed BIM methodology is to be exemplarily applied and implemented on the basis of a bridge structure by the example of a concrete measure for the operation.
