The Federal Office for Building and spatial planning sets for the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) the execution of the outdoor facilities for the Walther-Meissner building as part of the construction workn to the urban master plan in Berlin Charlottenburg.
The subject of this tender is the gardening and landscaping work for the production of the outdoor facilities with paths and planting areas in the courtyard area of the Walter-Meissner building as well as for the construction of the new plot of land towards Fraunhofer Strasse a new wall / aun system. Work on the Freianlagen immediately follow previously completed or partly parallel comprehensive building construction measures for the construction of the new Walther-Meissner-Bau, including the associated supply and disposal infrastructure existing path surfaces and their subsequent new production paUsing existing materials.
The tender includes:
- Demolition / dismantling of paved areas: approx. 1 300 m;
- Demolition of vegetation areas: approx. 1 200 m;
- Soil / waste disposal: approx. 1 500 t .
- New construction of path surfaces from:
—— natural stone (mosaic paving, slabs): approx. 350 m;
—— concrete stone (paving, slabs): approx. 1 300 m.
- fencing walls / fences: approx. 60 m ;
- Fuellkoerperrigole: approx. 50 m;
- box gutters: approx. 40 m;
- rainwater pipes: approx. 160 m;
- custom-made benches made of cast stone: approx. 35 m;
- new tree plantings: 8 pcs.
- planting area (hedges, Bushes, perennials, ground cover): approx. 850 m;
- lawns: approx. 400 m.
Automatic irrigation system.
The tender also includes planning services (e.g. formwork / reinforcement planningg for in-situ concrete components, work planning for the fence system).
Some services are to be performed by qualified electricians.
Parts of the services (restoration of pavement) are to be performed on public street land. These are to be carried out by a road construction company approved in Berlin, which is certified to perform services on public road land.
Start of executiong: June 2020
Completion: March 2021

First and development maintenance of the plantings: June 30, 2023
Execution time for maintenance: 27 months Construction company e. V. (prequalification list) or self-declarations according to Form 124 (self-declaration of suitability) or aEvidence based on the Single European Self-Declaration (EEE). If the type and scope of the references stored in the prequalification list are comparable to the work to be awarded, the valid PQ entry is sufficient for the corresponding service area as proof of suitability. If the offer of a non-prequalified bidder is shortlisted, they areSubmit the certificates specified in form 124 on request.
If the bidder refers to the capabilities of other companies to fulfill the order, the respective number is in the prequalification list or the declarations and certificates in accordance with form 124 must also be submitted for these other companies on request.

Bidders who are not based in the Federal Republic of Germany have equivalent certificates from recognized bodies of their country of origin.
The client will receive an extract from the central commercial register for the bidder who is to be awarded the contract (- 150 aCommercial Code) from the Federal Central Register. Foreign bidders must provide equivalent certificates of their country of origin. The bidder has to take into account compliance with the minimum fee regulations. Details are contained in the tender documents.
The suitability is with the offer by entry in the list of the association for pre-qualification of building contractorstake e. V. (prequalification list) or self-declarations according to Form 124 (self-declaration of suitability) or the Uniform European Self-Declaration (EEE). If the type and scope of the references stored in the prequalification list are comparable with the work to be awarded, the valid PQ entry is for the corresponding service areaI sufficient as proof of suitability.
