Development of environmentally-oriented traffic management in the city of Jena

Reference Number: 2392-2018

Environment-oriented traffic management requires not only the implementation of measures for traffic control and traffic information at the field level, but also the development of new ones Extension of existing system components of the VRevenue management at the central level for the purposes:

Lot 1 includes the extension of the existing traffic computer system as a component of the future traffic management platform of the city of Jena as well as reconstructions and adaptations to hard- and software of numerous traffic light systems. The following tasks, which go beyond the current situation, are to be fulfilled:

- traffic lawnersystem:

- Integration of parking data from parking facilities,

- Provision of traffic detection and parking data for the data and strategy management system, - Implementation of the strategy parameters from the data and strategy management system to implement traffic control measures at traffic light installations and (in the future) Implementation of measures of collective traffic information to Vtraffic information panels,

- transfer of the strategy parameters with regard to activated measures of traffic control and collective traffic information to the data and strategy management system.

- traffic lights:

- optimization of traffic control LSA control systems (section 0.3.2.1),

- - Implementation of LSA inflow doses on the main roads towards Zaccording to the control concepts of inflow dosing and node interception (Section 0.3.2.2).
