ContextCapture platform BEW currently does not have a standardized or central solution for the use of 3D system images. The creation and storage of this 3D data is decentralized, which leads to varying procedures and thus Inconsistencies in data quality and inefficient processes within the organization are promoted. Integration into existing systems such as COMOS (Siemens AG), SAP PM and the document management system is currently only possible to a limited extent. Relevant documentation is often incomplete or difficult to find, which results in increased effort for on-site inspections and business trips. As part of the critical infrastructure, it is essential for BEW to monitor all aspects of the IT infrastructure, data collection and processing as well as data transfer must be treated with the utmost care.
