Contaminated sites secured by self-control measures
These are the old Pollhornweg deposit, old Eckerkoppel deposit, old Havighorster Moor deposit, old Bruemmer deposit, Georgswerder landfill, old Neuhoefer Strasse dump and old Moorfleeter Brack dump. The aim of the long-term self-control programs is, above all, a reliable functional and effectiveness check with regard to the safety structures (especially surface sealing). For the The scope of services includes, in particular, the implementation of on-site hydraulic measurement programs to monitor the contaminated reservoir fluid bodies (measurement of reservoir water levels, oil levels and oil layer thicknesses), on a quarterly to annual basis, taking into account increased occupational safety requirements.
Further Groundwater level measurements must be carried out to a lesser extent. Another focus of our work is weekly or fortnightly hydrological on-site measurement series for monitoring cover systems, such as runoff vessel measurements (surface and drainage water runoff) and precipitation measurements as well as test field measurements (Dep. Georgswerder). Landfill gas is measured at five locations.
