Contact point UNESCO City of Design Berlin Berlin has been part of the international UNESCO Creative Cities Network since 2006 and bears the title of UNESCO City of Design. Despite the international importance of this status, its content, potential and networks are in So far, it has only been visible to a limited extent in urban society, in the design industry and in international exchange. There is also a lack of coordinated programmatic use of the title as a strategic instrument for urban development and international cooperation and creative industry profile building.
