Expression of Interest are invited for Consulting Services for Provision of External Financial Audit Services for RNT and Ende

The objectives of the programme are:
a) Expand the Angolan national grid to South;
b) Reduce the diesel generation costs in the Southern Region;
c) Allow electrification of the communities;
d) Promote the electrification of the mining projects in Southern areas;
e) Allow renewable energy projects and integration on the grid;
f) Reduce non-technical losses in the distribution network;
g) Increase revenue collection, minimize energy theft and fraud; and
h) Strengthen financial sustainability of the electricity sector value chain

The services included under this project are to: (a) conduct the audit of the programme in accordance with International Standards on Auditing, or national auditing standards where applicable; (b) verify that the Project funds have been used for their intended purposes and in accordance with the provisions of the Financing Agreement(s); (c) report on the financial statements and communicate as required by auditing standards in accordance with the auditors findings; and (d) provide an independent professional opinion on the financial position of the Project.
