Requested services: The feasibility study shall analyze the risk profile of the agro sector, examine existing initiatives, products, the given regulatory framework and the demand. Based on the outcome further steps shall be recommended. In detail, the following tasks are to be performed:

1. Collection of an Information Database and elaboration of the Country Risk Profile (CRP)

2. Market Analysis on the level of the potential insurance customers

3. Description and SWOT-analysis of any existing agro-insurances and their products

4. Identification of barriers

5. Analysis of the attitude of financial institutions towards agro-insurance products

6. Recommendations for a project design and setup

7. Presentation and discussion of the results?

8. Proposal of potential approaches to address the identified constraints, outlining the potential structure, institutional setting, challenges as well as necessary further analytical and/or preparatory work required

9. Crafting a final report including proposals developed in coordination with KfW.
